The glue of thermal lamination film is low temperature melting adhesive resin, the only desired rocedure for laminating process is heating the roller to 80 degrees. Compared with other processes, the efficiency can be increased by 20% without the high-power drying process, which is very suitable for large-scale continuous operation. Nowadays, the automatic laminating machine in the market could runs at 40-60 M/min.

The glue of thermal lamination film has high transparency, which gives the finished products excellent brightness, improves the grade of printed product. The thermal lamination film contains no solvent and volatilization, no wetting or discoloration to the paper, which is suitable for laminating of the water-solvent-sensitive materials such as gold and silver cardboard.

The thermal lamination film does not have to adjust the ratio of glue and drying degree. The operator only needs to carry out the loading and unloading material operation. One laminating machine can be operated by two people, and the laminating effect is stable regardless of the season or environment. Meanwhile, Water-based lamination film needs to keep attention to the glue ratio and drying effect at all times and the laminating effect is greatly affected by climate and environment, besides, the finished product’s quality is not consistent due to the human and environmental factors. Thermal lamination film does not need to be dried and the operation is very simple, it also could electricity in summer and no need of high temperature and high heat, improves the working environment and reduces the labor intensity. While the water-based lamination film get and cumbersome preparation and aftercare work and would generates high temperature and heat in summer, which deteriorates the working environment and increases the labor intensity.

In summary, the material cost of the thermal lamination film is basically comparable to water-based lamination film. However, the use of thermal film can significantly improve the quality of the company's prints, increase work efficiency, reduce management costs, and improve the working environment. Its overall cost is lower than water-based film, which means thermal film could completely replace the current water-based film.
